Joe has structured and closed over $1.5 billion in real estate debt transactions spanning construction financing, bridge lending, mezzanine capital, and portfolio recapitalizations. He has advised developers, family offices, and institutional sponsors across multifamily, hospitality, and commercial assets in major markets throughout the United States.

Prior to founding Crimson Redhouse, Joe served as Managing Director at Benmark Capital, where he led origination and portfolio management across a national lending platform. VP, Finance & Structuring CPA

Aaron spent eleven years in public accounting at Ernst & Young, where he advised real estate developers, private equity sponsors, and family offices on tax structuring, financial reporting, and transaction due diligence. Over the course of his career he worked directly on the acquisition, recapitalization, and disposition of over $800 million in commercial real estate and operating company assets.

At CRH, Aaron leads financial underwriting and structures transactions from a tax and accounting perspective from the first term sheet. His presence means clients have financial counsel in the room from day one, not just at closing. Aaron holds an active CPA license and a B.S. in Accounting from Yeshiva University.

General Counsel & VP J.D.

James practiced real estate and corporate law at Sullivan & Cromwell for nine years before transitioning to the principal side of transactions. During that time he structured and closed complex financings, joint ventures, and acquisitions across commercial real estate, private credit, and lower-middle market M&A.

At CRH, James oversees legal structuring on all mandates and participates directly in origination and deal execution. His presence means clients have legal counsel in the room from the first term sheet, not just at closing. J.D., Fordham University School of Law.

Director, Asset Management

Alexander leads asset management across CRH's investment portfolio. He previously oversaw a multi-thousand-unit privately held real estate portfolio in New York City during his tenure at one of the city's leading real estate management companies, where he managed operations, capital planning, and tenant relationships.

He subsequently founded the Kohn Collective, a real estate operating firm focused on portfolio performance and long-term value creation. Alexander brings an operator's perspective to every asset CRH holds.

Controller CPA

Daniela Kaufman is a seasoned finance professional with over a decade of experience in accounting and financial operations across private credit, real estate, and professional services firms. Before joining Crimson Redhouse, Daniela served as Controller at a mid-sized commercial real estate investment firm, where she oversaw financial reporting, cash management, and lender compliance. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in New York and holds a B.S. in Accounting from Rutgers Business School. Daniela is based in the New York metropolitan area.

Executive Assistant

Rachel Stern brings over eight years of experience supporting senior leadership in fast-paced investment and advisory environments. Prior to joining Crimson Redhouse, she supported C-suite executives at a New York-based family office, where she managed complex calendaring, investor communications, and cross-functional coordination across multiple portfolio companies. Rachel is known for her discretion, precision, and ability to anticipate needs before they arise. She holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Pace University and is based in New York.
